My only issue was that, upon examination of the installation, I noticed that the rubber rain gutter on the driver's side of the windshield was lifted away slightly from the A-pillar. Upon closer examination, I found that one of the plastic clips that holds it to the A-pillar was broken. No big deal though - it's a $1.00 part from Volkswagen, which I have already ordered, and will replace myself. I had been dreading the potential inconvenience, cost, scheduling, etc. that I had put off having it replaced. Much to my surprise, it was very easy and absolutely painless!

I called my insurance company and told them I wished to have 89Glass replace the windshield. My insurance company immediately accepted 89Glass's quote, and I was transferred to Danielle with 89 Glass. She was able to answer all of my questions, and she helped me schedule a convenient date and time for the replacement to take place. Not only did she do this efficiently, but she was friendly and courteous... a pleasure to speak with!

I regret that I don't recall the name of the service technician who replaced the windshield, but when he called to give me a time frame during which he would arrive, he was very courteous! Once he learned I needed my windshield wipers replaced, he told me I could leave them on the driver's seat and he'd replace them for me!

Unlike many service providers, he was able to provide me with a narrow time frame during which he expected to arrive! I was doubtful he'd be able to replace the windshield as promised once a horrible thunderstorm came through my area. My neighbor later told me that she saw the technician running back to the truck during the lightning, then returning to work on the windshield when it was safe! What dedication!
